The Gerlos ski resort is situated in the Gerlos valley surrounded by the Zillertaler Alps. The resort is home to numerous events such as Alp festivals, mountain fairs and square concerts.

The resort offers 1300 m of skiing run and a total of 35 lifts. It also offers 30km of cross-country skiing, as well as an excellent ski school and ski kindergarten for the little one's. The resort also caters for snowboarders, featuring a well equipped boarding park.

The Apre ski scene is pretty well equipped, offering a number of bars and clubs, as well as some shops and restaurants.

Nearby Attractions: The town of Innsbruck offers visitors a large selection of entertainment, should they wish to take a break from skiing. The Alpenzoo is a brilliant place to visit to enjoy a day of family entertainment. It is home to more than 800 animals ranging from more than 140 different species. Another place worth a visit is Swarovski Kristallwelten.

It consists of a magical Kingdom of Crystal which was opened in 1995 and features an exciting collection of crystalline works of art accompanied by entertaining 3D light shows. There are also many other places to visit such as the Cathedral of St. James, the Tyrol Museum of Popular Art and the Hofburg Palace.
Aprés-Ski: The resort offers a well equipped Apre Ski scene, which consists of a couple of bars and nightclubs. There are also a few shops and a selection of excellent restaurants offering delicious traditional and international cuisine.

The resort also features a bowling alley and arcade games, offering loads of entertainment for both young and old. There is also a gym and an ice rink, as well as beautiful walking trails and paragliding facilities.
