The Fugen ski resort is situated amongst the beauty of the Tyrol valley. It is a wonderful little resort which offers visitors the opportunity to indulge in their favourite winter sport, as well as enjoy a relaxed Apres ski scene. The resort features a total of 19 lifts and 40km of cross-country skiing, predominantly equipped for intermediates.

There is also a well equipped ski school, which offers excellent facilities for beginners and children. The resort also caters well for snowboarders with a specialised boarding park and halfpipe. The Apre Ski scene is very relaxed and laid-back and consists mainly of a couple of shops, some bars and clubs and a selection of excellent restaurants offering a delicious combination of traditional Austrian and international cuisine.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Nearby Attractions: The town of Innsbruck offers a great selection of entertainment, if they wish to take a break from skiing. The Alpenzoo is a brilliant place to start a day of family fun. The zoo is home to more than 800 animals ranging from more than 140 different species.

Another place which is definitley worth a visit is the The Hofburg Palace.

The Palace was originally built during the 15th century and after being destroyed, it was rebuilt in the classic beauty of true baroque-style architecture during the 18th century.

The Hofkirche cathedral consists of Gothic royal court church and tomb in which was built in 1553. The tomb features 28 bronze statues created during the 16th century.
Aprés-Ski: The Apre Ski scene is very relaxed and laid-back and consists predominantly of a couple of shops, some bars and clubs and a selection of excellent restaurants offering a delicious combination of traditional Austrian and international cuisine.

There are also various nature walking and hiking trails available, as well as a large indoor swimming pool and sauna's.

Other activities which available, which can be enjoyed by the entire family is ice skating, snowshoeing and sleigh riding.
