The Flagler Museum - Cutural Attraction
Cast an eye on exquisite architecture and some railroad history when visiting The Whitehall estate, which was home to Henry Flagler, owner of the Florida East Coast Railway in the early 20th Century. Whitehall was built in a Beaux-Arts style of the Gilded Age. The interior is decorated as different period rooms. On the south lawn the original, restored Railcar #91 is exhibited.

The museum is closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day, but open on all other days of the year. Address: Corner of Cocoanut Row and Whitehall Way, Palm Beach.

The Norton Museum of Art - Cutural Attraction
This Art Deco/Neo-Classic building boasts with a permanent collection of 5 000 works of art. The new Gail and Melvin Nessel wing that was opened in 2003 consists of an additional 14 galleries. The building itself is an impressive piece or architecture and each of the three levels are home to different themes of art, ranging from photography to Chinese art to European and American art. The Museum is closed on Mondays and major public holidays. Address: 1451 S. Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach.

The Armory Art Center - Cutural Attraction
A visit to this center will allow one to glance at the artistic talent of Palm Beach locals. Although it is mainly an educational institution, there are exhibits throughout the year. The building, in Art Deco style, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, is also worth the visit. The Center is closed on Sundays. Address: 1700 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach.

Hoffman’s Chocolate Shoppe & Gardens - Tourist Attraction
A must for every chocolate lover. Treat yourself to a tour through the chocolate factory to see the masters at work. Hoffman’s are the producers of 80 different confections. At the back of the factory there is a tropical garden where one can enjoy your sweet treat whilst looking at the waterfall, fishpond and a G-scale train village. From Thanksgiving to New Years the garden becomes a Winter Wonderland with lights and displays. Visit them at 5190 Lake Worth Road, Greenacres.

International Museum of Cartoon Art - Tourist Attraction
A museum with a twist that has something for the young at heart and curious. This museum hosts over 160 000 cartoon artworks, about 10 000 comic books and animated films that accumulates to a 1 000 hours. Other highlights are the Hearst Cartoon Hall of Fame, the Create-A-Cartoon Center and exhibitions. And if you really enjoyed the visit, make the memory forever by visiting the gift shop. The museum is situated at 201 Plaza Real, Boca Raton.

The Jupiter Lighthouse - Tourist Attraction
This well-known beacon is also the oldest building in the Palm Beach County. This outing is definitely only for those who are into more physical activities, as the climb towards the top is rather exhausting. The lighthouse is open from Sunday to Wednesday from 10:00–16:00, weather depending. Please note that the minimum height requirement is 1.2m. Shoes that are fastened at the back are also recommended. Visit the lighthouse at U.S. Highway 1 and Highway A1A, Jupiter.

Mounts Botanical Garden - Natural Attraction
This is the largest and oldest botanical garden in the county of Palm Beach. The fourteen acre garden boasts with plants from six different continents. The Garden offers lectures and workshops for those interested. Or, if you are in need of some plant information bring your questions to the Master Gardeners, or visit the bookshop. Access to the Garden is free. Mounts Botanical Garden can be found at 531 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park - Children’s Activity
Take the family on an outing to Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park and experience much more than just animals. Besides for seeing the Bengal tiger, the Komodo dragon and the kangaroo, you can also splash around in the interactive fountain (so be sure to bring your swim suit). When you feel like a rest, take a break in the Tropics Café that is decorated as a tropical port in Brazil. The zoo is open all year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving. Always wanted to own a vintage car, but never could afford it? Then make a stop at the Museum at Ragtops Motorcars. Here you can look at interesting cars and vintage station wagons. For those who want more there is a soda bar, a gift shop, and even a drive-in. Don’t miss the Art Deco style Tropical Showroom! The Marinelife Center of Juno Beach - Natural Attraction
If you are interested in sea life, you cannot miss this stop. The Marinelife Center of Juno Beach is dedicated to conserving sea life, especially that of the sea turtle.

There are exhibitions on marine life as well as several seawater aquariums. During nesting season, visitors may even observe how sea turtles make their nests on the beach.
