Bicton Park Botanical Gardens - Natural Attraction |
These magnificent gardens are on the Budleigh Salterton road, 8 Kms south of Newton Poppleford and 13 Kms SE of Exeter. Boasting 63 acres of superbly landscaped grounds complete with lakes, fountains, A formal 18th century Italian garden and a stunning palm house. Widecombe Fair - Local Festival or Holiday |
In the heart of the moors is this delightful village, and it's fair immortalised in the Childrens song takes place on the 2nd Tuesday in September annually. Even if you are not there at that time, Widecome is a beautiful place to visit and a typical English village with it's cute houses complete with bow windows thatched roofs and chimneys. you can start your walks from here or even hire a pony.

Beautiful Naval town on Devon's coast and a haven for the holidaymaker. Narrow streets, Elizabethan timber framed houses and a lovely embankment to stroll along are just a few of Dartmouth's attractions. The Merchants House that dates from 1640 is the towns museum and a walk through the town will throw up all sorts of delights. The well preserved castle is a short walk from the centre.
