Coventry Cathedral - Tourist Attraction
The ancient Cathedral as much of the town was flattened in the German air raids of WW2, but was rebuilt straight away and restored to it's former splendour. Plenty of interesting corners to discover including St Michael's Hall Treasury and St Michael's Tower which can be climbed for amazing views over the city.

Coventry Transport Museum - Cutural Attraction
Millennium Place, Hales Street is where you will find this interesting museum with something to interest most people. Trace the history of the British roads from a century ago, With more than 500 exhibits including cars, motorbikes, bikes, trucks and Land Speed Record cars. There is a tea room and its no charge to go in.

Ryton Organic Gardens - Natural Attraction
Just outside of the city at Ryton on Dunsmore and easily accessable by public transport. This is the U.Ks centre for organic gardening and features 10 acres of beautiful gardens and displays.There is also a well known restaurant on site that prepares fresh produce grown here.

Coventry Canal Art Trail - Cutural Attraction
This is a super walk along the Coventry Canal Basin all the way to Hawkesbury Junction which is about 9kms and along the way you will come across 39 artworks and sculptures by a number of artists.On a nice day this is a most enjoyable waterside walk and can be accessed by wheelchair.

Lunt Roman Fort - Cutural Attraction
Situated in Baginton a short drive from the city. This Roman fort was reconstructed from the 1st century.Inside the Granary there is an interesting museum depicting Roman life in the area with artefacts found here. A horse training ring is still standing, but much of the site has seen better days, nevertheless its a worthwhile exercise.

Coventry Canal Basin - Natural Attraction
The 19th century wharf is a short walk from the city centre and has been well restored. Walking around the area can be a very pleasant trip and one can relax in the Tea Shop and watch the canal boats and barges pass by. There is an office for the Canal Ranger and a newsagents on site.
