Alcazar - Tourist Attraction
This unmissable attraction is one of the city's oldest buildings dating back to the 10th century. Restorations have taken place and the atmosphere is still very Moorish. For the visitor there is much to see and a morning here will not be wasted. The gardens are very pleasant, palm filled and shady.

One of the largest Cathedrals in the world is located in the city centre. If you only have time for one sight then this should be it. This is the old part of the city which is charichterised by a maze of cobbled streets, complete with charming cafes and bars spilling on to the pavements, then opening out to flower filled piazza's. Feria de Abril - Local Festival or Holiday
This is a massive fiesta and lasts for a week, in April and held in Los Remedios across the river. Tents, Pavilions and stages are put up for the celebrations. At night the locals all gather there in their bright traditional costumes to do the Flamenco, drink, eat and be merry. The size and spontaneity of the fiesta will have the most conservative visitor joining in. Earlier in the day the townsfolk parade in the streets. The bullfight season kicks off then also.

María Luisa Park - Natural Attraction
You will find this very pleasant open space towards the southern end of the old city. Landscaped in 1929 as the centre of the "Fair of the Americas", Some of the structures for that are still around, and have been turned into museums. But the main reason to head here are the shady areas, to escape from the city rush or to mess around in a boat on the river.
