Bellver Castle - Cutural Attraction |
Spectacular location on top of a hill commanding views of the town and out to sea. The circular castle was constructed in the 14th century as a summer residence for royalty. Though it has more often come into use as a prison. The museum contains many important finds from the area and some fine art works.

| (Saint John's night) is celebrated every year on June 24th at Parc de la Mar. This is a good excuse for a party, and the park comes to life with dancing, eating, drinking and being merry. The big fireworks display is the night before. No one knows what its all about , let alone cares. This would be a good one to co-incide with your break. |

Located in the adjacent resort of El Arenal. Lots to please the kids here with tubes emptying the riders into a big pool and themed areas including Tsunami, The Grand Canyon and the Devils Tale. For smaller children there is the Mini Park, Dragoland and Polynesia. Plenty of green areas for sunseekers to hang out. Take a day for this.

The decor is quietly undiscribeable and the 19th century courtyard is decorated with caged birds, wicker chairs, fountains, sculpture and romantic candlelight.
