Cathedrale Notre-Dame des Doms - Cutural Attraction |
Place du Palais, Avignon. The cathedral dates back to the 12th century and contains the Flamboyant Gothic tombs of some of the apostate popes.
The main feature of the cathedral, it's crown, is a 19th century gilded statue of the Virgin Mary. From the cathedral you can stroll through the garden of the promenade du Rocher-des-Doms.
The cathedral is open everday from 09h00 - 12h00 and 14h00 - 18h00. Admission is free. |

La Cite de Espace - Children’s Activity |
Av. Jean Gonord, Toulouse. This is one of the most popular places in Toulosue, and half a million visitors a year come here to learn about what it must be like to program a satellite's launch into orbit or to maneuver one in space. The centre is a fun place to visit and educational as well, with many life-size structural models, including one of an astronaut riding an exercise bike in zero gravity. The centre is open Tuesday to friday from 09h00 - 18h00; and weekends from 09h00 - 19h00. Admission is $14.40 for adults; $12 for seniors; $11.20 for children 6 - 17; and free for children under 6.

Musee du Petit-Palais - Cutural Attraction |
| Place du Palais, Avignon. This used to be the bishop's palace where the first two popes of Avignon lived. The museum houses an important collection of paintings from Italian schools of the 13th to the 16th centuries, including from Florence; Venice; Siena; and Lombardy. The museum also has a few galleries that are dedicated to Roman and Gothic sculptures. The museum is open from June to September Wednesday to Monday from 10h00 - 13h00 and 14h00 - 18h00; and October to May Wednesday to Monday from 09h30 - 13h00 and 14h00 - 17h30. Admission is $7.20 for adults; $3.60 for students and childre; and free for children under 12. |

Musee de la Castre - Cutural Attraction |
| Le Suquet, Cannes. The Castle of Cannes, which is a listed historic monument, has housed the collections of the Museum of Cannes since 1952. The museum has combined the ethnological and primitive art collections with those of the Fine Arts Museum, an excellent collection of works by 19th and 20th century painters from Cannes and Provence. The museum is open October to March from 10h00 - 13h00 and 14h00 - 17h00; April to May from 10h00 - 13h00 and 14h00 - 18h00; June to August from 10h00 - 13h00 and 15h00 - 19h00; and September from 10h00 - 13h00 and 14h00 - 18h00. The museum is closed on Mondays. Admission is $3.60 for adults; and free for students up to 26years and children under 18. |

Basilique St Sernin - Cutural Attraction |
| 13 place St Sernin, Toulouse. This is the city's top attraction, it was consecrated in 1096, and is the largest and best Romanesque church in Europe. Its outstanding feature is the Porte Miegeville, which opens onto the south aisle and is decorated with 12th century sculptures. Nearby you can visit the tombs of the comtes de Toulouse. THe church is open everyday from 08h30 - 11h30 and 14h00 - 17h30. Admission is free. |

Russian Orthodox Cathedral of St Nicholas - Cutural Attraction |
| Avenue Nicolas-II, off bd. du Tzarewitch, Nice. This amazing cathedral was built between 1903 nad 1912, it is crowned by six onion-shaped domes and is a sight not to be missed. Be advised that shorts, short skirts and sleeveless shirts are forbidden there. The cathedral is open May to September everyday from 09h00 - 12h00 and 14h30 - 18h00; and October to April everyday from 09h30 - 12h00 and 14h30 - 17h30. Musee de I'Annonciade (Musee St-Tropez) - Cutural Attraction |
| Place Grammont, near the harbour in St Tropez. The museum is housed in the former chapel of the Annonciade. It was opened in 1995 and contains one of the best modern art collections in the Riviera. The museum displays paintings and sculptures by Bonnard; Matisse; Braque; Dufy; Utrillo; Seurat; Derain; and Maillol. The Blue Beach in Nice - Cutural Attraction |
| This is one of the most child-friendly beaches in Nice, it's a private beach so you have to pay an entrance fee. There are plenty restaurants and other activities to keep the whole family entertained, elasticated harnesses will bounce you really high on tramoplines and there is a variety of water activities, from paragliding for one or two at a time, canoe hire and inflatable rides behind a speed boat. |

Cannes Film Festival - Local Festival or Holiday |
Located at venues all over Cannes. This is one of the most famous, if not the most famous, film festival in the world. Everybody who is anybody in the film industry, as well as their adoring fans, flock to Cannes every year to take a glimpse at all the latest and hottest movies; and see who wins which one of the prestigious Palme d'Or.
