| This is probably Nice's most exclusive club, with cover usually 100F and up. Going on a Thursday before midnight will get the price down and women may be able to get in free any night and receive a free drink.  Promonade des Anglais - Natural Attraction |
| Stretching the length of Nice's waterfront and rocky beach, the promenade is a sight unto itself. It was named after the English community living in Nice who had it built, providing a palm-lined beachside stroll as a coastal response to other European cities grand walking thoroughfares. |

 Musée Matisse - Cutural Attraction |
| This museum has a fine collection of works by Henri Matisse, who lived and worked in Nice from 1917 until his death in 1954. Henri was best known for his paintings, but the museum chooses to emphasize his artistry in other media. The collection, which changes periodically, includes initial sketches, a model for his Chapelle du Rosaire in Vence, and books illustrated by the artist. Open daily except Thursday.  Musée Chagall - Cutural Attraction |
| The captivating collection beautifully showcases Chagall's huge, color-saturated canvases, which fuse folklore and religion in his highly personal style. The main exhibit, which provides a religious experience is the "Song of Songs", a series of 17 paintings illustrating stories from the Old Testament.  Le Château - Natural Attraction |
| Le Château is a flowery, green hillside park with the remains of an 11th century cathedral and an atificial waterfall, at the eastern end of the promenade. The name is actually quite deceiveng as there is no Château on the hill, it was in fact destroyed in a battle during the 8th century. Climb the 400 odd steps to the top, to see a spectacular view of Nice and the blue waters of Baie des Anges. |

 Cours Saleya - Tourist Attraction |
| On weekday mornings a massive flower market is held on this street just next to the promenade. By day hordes of knick-knack stands fill the cours attempting to cash in on its appeal and by night its many cafés become prime spots for people - watching. |

 Russian Orthodox Cathedral - Cutural Attraction |
| The cathedral, with its six distinct onion-shaped domes, was built between 1903 and 1912 but its style and feel is that of an early 17th century structure. Step inside The Cathédale Orthodoxe Russe Saint Nicolas and you'll be transported to Imperial Russia. Be warned though shorts or short skirts and sleeveless shirts are not allowed.  Acropolis - Tourist Attraction |
This evident gold structure is another epic piece of modern architecture. Its hard to miss exterior and interior resemble a sci-fi film set, which the locals seem to think a eyesore.
The complex functions as a conference center, office space, and a fairly popular shopping center. |

| A must in Nice! Overlooking Nice. Interesting churchyard, beautiful Renaissance church with gardens, roman and greek ruins panoramic view and all free. In summer, open air performances, concerts, etc in the "arenes". Not to be missed! |

| Scuba Diving - Sporting Activity |
| We did a day's diving with a company called Diamond Diving in Nice. They are run by an English guy and were very customer service friendly and reasonable. www.diamonddiving.net |
