Helsinki Festival - Local Festival or Holiday

Temppeliaukio Church - Cutural Attraction
Lutherinkatu 3. The Church is one of Helsinki's most popular tourist attractions and is quarried out of natural bedrock.The interior walls are created naturally by the rock.Due to its excellent acoustics, the church is a popular venue for concerts, a popular and regular, being the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. The church is open Mon - Sat, closed on Sundays.

National Museum of Finland - Cutural Attraction
Mannerheimintie 34. The museum displays Finnish history, right from prehistoric times to the present day, with major archaelogical finds, the development of Finnish society and culture from the beginning of the Middle Ages to the present.The museum also houses temporary exhibitions. It is closed on Mondays, with free entrance on Tuesdays and is located in the city centre.

Kaivopuisto Park - Natural Attraction
elsinki's oldest and best known park, its surrounded by embassies and villas. The nearby sea, rock cliffs and green lawns offer many opportunities to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The highest point of the park is at the Ursa Observatory, with panaroma views over Helsinki and the sea. There are several cafes and restaurants along the shore here as well as on the nearby neighbouring islands.

Senate Square and Market Square - Tourist Attraction

The square is decorated by three buildings designed by C.L.Engel between 1822 and 1852, being the Cathedral, the Council of State and the University of Helsinki.In the immediate vicinity is the National Libray, the Sofiankatu museum street, Esplanade park and the Market Square, which in summer is filled with stalls selling fruit, vegetables and souvenirs. Linnanmaki Amusement Park and Sea Life - Children’s Activity
The amusement park has traditionally been the highlight of every Finnish child's summer holiday for the past 50 years.It offers thrills for the whole family, with the rollercoaster being the perennial favourite. Aleksanterinkatu - Tourist Attraction

Cygnaeus Gallery - Cutural Attraction
Kalliolinnantie 8. This gallery is one of the oldest art museums in Finland and was opened in 1882.The gallery exhibits are built around the art collection that was donated by Prof. Fredirik Cygnaeus to the Finnish nation. While the basic collection consists of 19th Century Finnish art, the gallery also holds special exhibitions and concerts. It is open Wednesday to Sundays only.

Korkeasaari Zoo - Children’s Activity
There is a motorboat connection from the Market square and Hakaniemi daily and a bridge connection from Mustikkamaa Island all year round. The zoo is one of the oldest in the world and was founded in 1889.

You will meet most animals all the way from the tropical rainforest to the Artic tundra. There are approximately 200 different animal species in the zoo, of which 80% can be seen thoroughout the year.
