 The Summer Festival - |
| The 2005 Festival dates are 10 July - 25 August but you should book your tickets well in advance. This is a good time to visit the city, as the city is abuzz with life. The events include classical concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and literature all held in many of the city's courtyards and squares.

 Stari Grad - |
| The old town was founded about 1300 years ago. It has steep cobbled streets, marble-paved squares, tall houses, churches, palaces and museums, all made from the same pale-coloured stone and set inside the, still intact, city walls. The town has a pleasant climate and verdant vegetation, which adds to its charms. Dubrovnik was heavily shelled in 1991 but it has been largely restored and it is still one of Europe’s most beautiful cities so much so that it is on UNESCO-s List of Cultural Heritage.

 City Walls - |
| These were built between the 13th and 16th centuries, and are still intact despite the 1991 bombings. They are considered to be some of the finest city walls in the world, they are over 2km (1.2mi) long and 25m (82ft) high, with no less than 16 towers. A walk along the walls is a must do as the view’s from the top are fabulous.

 Lokrum Island - |
| If you want to chill out for while take the 10-minute ferry ride to Lokrum Island. The island is a densely wooded nature reserve with an interesting botanical garden, the remains of a Habsburg fortress and even a nudist beach. The Fort was built in a shape of a five-pointed star by French army in 1806 and from the top there are magnificent view of Dubrovnik, and the island itself.

 Cruising - |
| Cruising is a popular past time in Dubrovnik. Few other areas in Europe possess such good opportunities for cruising, whether it be with motorboats, sailboats, or speedboats. The breathtaking scenery of more than a thousand lovely islands set along the Croatian coastline, is a magnet for sailing enthusiasts.

 Cilipi - |
| Take a trip out to the village of Cilipi which is in the heart of the lush Konavle Valley. The village was badly damaged in the war of the 1990’s but has now been restored, so its picturesque charm and rich tradition have been preserved. Cilipi is famous for its embroidery and the carefully preserved folk costumes and rich national costumes are well worth a look.

 Island of Mljet - |
| National Park The Island is one of the attractive and most densely wooded islands in the Adriatic Sea. Part of the island has been declared a national park, whose main attractions are a couple of salt-water lakes. While you are there take a boat trip to the islet in the Great Lake and visit to the 12th-century Benedictine Monastery. You may wish to take a swimsuit on this trip as many visitors take a refreshing swim in the salt-water lake.

 Bay of Kitor - |
| Take a drive to the natural beauties of the Bay of Kotor. The journey takes you along a winding road through the towns of Risan and Perast to Kotor. The bay is spectacular and the history of the area is very interesting. On the descent take a detour to Cetinje, which at one-time was the seat of Montenegran rulers and is now a city-museum. On your return to Dubrovnik enjoy a ferry ride across the bay.

 Diving - |
| The section of the Adriatic See that belongs to Croatia is considered to be one of the best diving sights in the world, attracting many underwater enthusiasts every year. The internationally famous French oceanographer Jacques Cousteau once said that the sea around Dubrovnik contained one of the most beautiful underwater worlds he had ever seen in all the years of his expeditions.

 Restaurant Levanat - |
Lapad peninsula. This restaurant is surrounded with Mediterranean vegetation and has a wonderful sea view of the Bay of Lapad, the islets Grebeni and Sv. Andrija and the vast open sea.
The food is also very and combines the taste of Dalmatian cuisine with the customs and traditions of the Dubrovnik region. So this restaurant combines good food with spectacular views, which is quite a combination.
