The Ranthambhore Bagh is THE place to go in Ranthambhore. Poonam and Aditya have a cosy place- Neat, comfy and with just the right ambience. The low price makes it a major bargain. We spent 3 nights & two days. Saw six tigers. Went on a picnic to Banas river. Fantastic birding opportunities. Mongoose, Monitor Lizards, Wild boars, Gazelle, and many more. Also managed to see a Common Krait (Sind). Thoroughly enjoyable.....

The best Place to stay, in India

The Ranthambhore Bagh, is owned and operated by a wonderful, husband and wife team. Aditya and Poonam Singh are the most enthusiastic and welcoming hosts that you could want. The Bagh is a great place to stay, if you wish to visit the Ranthambhore forest and have the very best chance of meeting up with wild tigers. Aditya and Poonam will arrange all your required travel arrangements, from the moment that you arrive in India to the moment you enter the airport for your flight home. I and my teenage daughter have been to the Bagh several times over the last few years and I am planning our next trip, for December this year, at the moment. The last trip involved Poonam and Aditya driving us from the Bagh to Bharatpur Bird Reserve for two days and Corbett National Park, where Aditya stayed with us for four fantastic days. The accomodation that they had arranged for us along the way, and within Corbett was absolutely excellent. Aditya is a very skilled and very keen wildlife photographer and having him out in the forest with us every day was an invaluable contribution to me gaining such good results with my new D-SLR camera. As hosts at the Bagh Poonam and Aditya are brilliant, they will sit in the hotel grounds with you into the small hours discussing anything you like, especially tigers. When their busy schedule allows, they will even accompany their guests into the forest and they always seem to attract the best tiger tracking forest guides and drivers to accompany you on your, twice daily, forest trips. The staff at the Bagh are a good set of people, they are all friendly and eager to please. The food is really good and there is plenty of it. I would recommend that anyone wanting a great Indian tiger experience and excellent company, food and accomodation, contacts Aditya and Poonam at the Ranthambhore Bagh. My daughter and I have made many great friends from India and many other countries whilst staying at the Bagh. Some of the Indian ones are making arrangements to travel there in December so that we can all meet up once again and share more adventures together.

The Ranthambhore Bagh is the perfect place for a genuine Indian wildlife safari. Accommodation is comfortable and meals by firelight are excellent and appetising. Aditya and Poonam are the perfect hosts, willing to share their knowledge and love of Indian wildlife and culture. I can't wait for my next visit and more tigers !
