Buffalo Bill State Park - Located just out of Cody. This beautiful park is a great place to take the whole family for a fun day out in nature. The park has many outdoor activities on offer, including hiking; fishing; a wide variety of watersports; as well as camping and picnic facilities.
Yellowstone National Park - This is one of the most famous parks in the world, and it attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world each year. There is so much to see and do at Yellowstone National Park that you'll need to set aside at least a day in order to get a glimpse of what the park has to offer. Some of the main attractions are the Geysers and Hot Springs.
Cody Restaurants and Bars
Tommy Jack's - 1134 13th Street. This is one of the best places in Cody to go for some authentic Cajun food, and it is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They serve a wide range of Cajun specialities, including gator; crawfish; etouffee; gumbo; and catfish. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.
Cassie's Supper Club - 214 Yellowstone Avenue. This has been one of the most popular restaurants in Cody since 1920, and is frequented by locals and tourists alike. Cassie's remains true to the legend of the West, with big plates of beef; 4 bars; and ornery roadhouse decor with taxidermy; antelope skulls; and assorted cowboy items. This is the place to go for an unforgettable dining experience.
Stefan's Restaurant - 1367 Sheridan Avenue. This restaurant is the place to go to if you've had enough of all the more traditional Wyoming restaurants. They serve a wide range of gourmet fare, including filet mignon stuffed with Gorgonzola cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and portobello mushrooms; Meatloaf with spicy buffalo; and a crustless chicken potpie.
Cody Bars & Clubs
Silver Dollar Bar - 1313 Sheridan Avenue. This is one of the best bars in Cody, and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They have live music most nights, and there are also pool tables; many TV screens that show live sporting events. This is a great place to go and meet people, while having a good time.
Cooter Brown's - Located in the alley behind 1134 13th Street. This is the place to go if you're looking to party all night long, and it is very popular with a crowd of hip and young Wyomans. There are DJs that spin all the latest and hottest dance music from around the world. If you're looking to party, don't pass Cooter Brown's by.
Cassie's Supper Club - 214 Yellowstone Avenue. This is another one of the top nightclubs in Cody, and it is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They have a huge dance floor, which is always filled with wannabe cowboys and cowgirls. This is the place to go to have a more Western evening out, with line dance and the like all night long.
