Brian Head Ski Information
Las Vegas is a 3-½ hour drive from Brian Head Resort, but the town of Cedar City, where the Tony-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival is held, is only 35 minutes to the west. The Dixie National Forest and the Cedar Breaks National Monument are two great attractions for visitors who wish to take a break from skiing.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowmobiling, and sightseeing, are a few of the activities available at the resort, as well as spa treatment at the Cedar Breaks Lodge & Spa There are also several restaurants, such as the Lift House Restaurant which is open from 5.00 10.00 pm, and whose menu offers Steak, Chops, Pastas, and fish, as well as alcoholic beverages. The Cedar Breaks Cafe, which is open for breakfast, also opens at 5.00pm for casual dining and appetizers.
Brian Head Resort has been honoured as a Top Family Getaway by the Family Travel Forum, and has 464 skiable acres, with mainly northeastern exposure for morning sun and avalanche-free conditions. The terrain offers more black runs than the greens and blues, and is quite steep in places. With over 50 runs for snowboarders and skiers, including an entire mountain dedicated to beginners and children, as well as cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing, Brian Head Resort offers something for everyone and every level of expertise.
