Beaufort Parks & Gardens
Hunting Island State Park - This is not only a beautiful beach, but 5,000 acres of protected nature reserve. The park contains marine forest, salt marshes and a nature trail. Follow this to the 1873 lighthouse at Hunting Island that is now open to the visitor.
