Bill's Art Store - 20 E. High St. A shop that stocks modern art and art supplies. So if you enjoy painting in oils or watercolours, Bill will have what you need.

Wild Berry - 15 West High Street. This is an elegant shop that makes perfume. This shop is one of the towns favourites and even without going in the waft of scented air as you pass is irrisistable. They also offer incense burners and sticks.

You're Fired - 6 N. Beech St. Pick a bowl, planter, plate, teapot, switch covers, in fact most things made of pottery. They will advise if you need it, but go ahead and choose from a wide range of glazes. Just leave your piece to be fired and glazed and hey presto, you've helped make a unique artwork.

Oxford Flower and Gift Shop - 119 E. High St. This well established shop has plenty of customers for their fresh flowers and plants. They also sell a wide range of gifts, many to do with bathtime.

Mak's Chicken - 120 S. Locust St. Don't let the address put you off as no locusts are ever seen in Mak's. Just the most tender melt in the mouth chicken available. Take out or eat right there makes no difference.

Bagel and Deli - This is an institution in Oxford and has been thriving since 1975. Over 80 different bagel fillings are crafted here. The owners are inventive with the names and they are all delicious. You can even create your own.

The Governors Room - Located in Alexander House. This is first class dining at a top venue. This is perfect for a special occasion or romantic dinner for two. The menu is International, service excellent and decor is sophisticated. An altogether ding experience.
