Carson City Attractions
Nevada State Museum - 600 N. Carson Street. The museum is housed in the former U.S. Mint, which was built in 1866. The museum contains exhibits that depict Nevada's history, including a life-sized ghost town; a walk through silver mine; and the equipment used to stamp over 50 million dollars in gold and silver coins.
Nevada State Railroad Muaeum - 2180 South Carson Street, next to the Visitors' Centre. This interesting museum houses a collection of restored historic Virginia and Truckee Railroad equipment. There are also rides on the railroad on offer during the summer.
Northern Nevada Children's Museum - 813 N. Carson Street. This is a great place to take the children for a sightseeing adventure. The museum is both educational and fun at the same time, with 25 hands-on exhibits, which are displayed over around 8,000 square feet in Carson City's original 1939 Civic Center.
Glen Eagles Fine dining, steaks, chops, pasta, and specials. Great lounge with music Tuesday through Saturday. Very popular with locals. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Carson City Parks & Gardens
Mills Park - Near the centre of town. This beautiful park is a great place for the whole family to relax and take a break from all the sightseeing around town. There is a train, which takes visitors on a ride through the park. There are also picnic areas and play areas for children.
Ross Gold Park - Located in the north of Carson City. This is another great place to take the family for some fun in the outdoors amongst nature. The beautiful park has a well-stocked fishing pond that is open to the public; as well as picnic areas and play areas for children.

Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill - 3300 South Carson Street. This is one of the most popular restaurants in Carson City, and is frequented by both locals and tourists. They serve a wide range of traditional American food, including ribs; steaks; and hamburgers. This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner.
Cracker Box Restaurant - 402 East William Street. This is the best restaurant in town to go to for breakfast, and it is very popular for just that reason. They serve a wide range of traditional American dishes for breakfast and lunch. If you want an all American breakfast to start the day, don't miss the Cracker Box.
Heiss' Steak and Seafood House - 107 East Telegraph Street. This is one of the best places to go for dinner, and it is very popular with locals and tourists. They serve a wide range of the traditional American favourites, including steaks; ribs; burgers; and seafood. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable.
Carson City Bars & Clubs
Bully's Sports Bar - 3530 North Carson Street. This lively and fun bar is very popular with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. They have big screen TVs that air live sporting events; pool tables; dart boards; and a few other pub games available. This is a great place to have some fun, while meeting some of the locals.
Crossroads Lounge - 300 East Winnie Lane. The stylish Crossroads Lounge is very popular with the young; hip; and trendy locals and tourists. They serve an excellent range of cocktails and the best coffee in town. This is a great place for a more relaxed night out, sipping on some cocktails, while mixing with the locals
Eagle Station Saloon - 170 Koontz Lane Spc 103. This is one of the most popular nightclubs with tourists to Carson City. This is the place to go to experience a night out western style, with square dancing; line dancing and many more western favourites. There's always a great party to be had at the Eagle Station Saloon.
