Old Road Murder Mystery Dinner Train - US 223, Blissfield, Telephne - (517) 486-2141. And now for something completely different. A bit further afield, you can take the train ride from Blissfield to Adrian and be a part of the mystery while enjoying an excellent dinner. Call for times, dates and reservations.

Stagecoach Stop USA - 7203 US-12 (West of Clinton), Irish Hills, (517) 467-2300. Just a bit out of Ann Arbor, this complete 1800's western village has its own country store, trading post, saloon and restaurant. You can wander around and enjoy the excellent goodies in the gift shops. There are magic shows and a playground for the kids as well as a petting zoo. There are bookstores and art galleries and loads of other interesting things to look at.

Zapzone Lazertag - When the children get too much take them along to Zapzone Lazertag (2809 Boardwalk Drive) to get rid of their energy. Even mom and dad can join in the fun attacking one another with hand-held phasers.

Domino's Farms Petting Zoo - Plymouth and Earhart Rds., Ann Arbor, Tel - 998-0182. With over 100 animals to view and loads of events, hay rides and animal demonstrations, a gift shop and an endangered livestock breeding program, there is certainly lots to see, enjoy and learn about. There's lots of wide open spaces to walk or picnic. There's a beautiful pond where you can feed the ducks or just stroll around and see the animals in their natural habitat. The country atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful while the kids learn and enjoy in a safe environment. The zoo is a non-profit organisation so any donations are most welcome. Known to be one of the best of its kind, there is alway a good show on for a more than good laugh. Bear in mind there's an age restriction here - 18 and over and they request identification.
