Renaissance Center - Visible from most of the city, the Renaissance Center is the tallest building in Detroit. The building first erected in 1976 is home to General Motor's world headquarters. Disputed for many years for having labyrinthine type layout on the interior the building has now been updated to be more visitor friendly. Ride to the 72nd floor observation tower. The central tower includes the Marriott Renaissance Hotel and The Summit, a revolving top floor restaurant. On your way out visit one of the many shops along the lower floor.
