Acadia National Park - This national park is one of the most popular attractions in the area. It offers wonderful areas to hike and the outdoor activities include camping, sailing, water sports, mountain climbing and whale watching. The park offers incredible vistas in summer and even in winter it's a great destination for the lover of the outdoors.

The Atlantic Brewing Company - Mount Desert Island, in the nearby village of Town Hill. A great place to visit for the free tours of their award winning brewery. Do visit The Knox Road Grille eatery where you can enjoy a jolly good meal along with a great beer of your choice.
The Rinehart Dining Pavilion - Wonder View Inn, A favourite with locals and visitors alike and located high on a hill commanding spectacular views of the the harbour and bay. The chef often changes the menu and local fish dishes shouldn't be missed.
Stewman's Lobster Pound - 123 Eden Street, It's obvious that this restaurant specialises in seafood. The whole family will enjoy eating seafood al-fresco here. Clam Chowder and blueberry pie are some of the popular items as well as great local beers.
Galyn's Restaurant and Galley Lounge - 17 Main Street, A busy, ever popular restaurant that specialises in American and Caribbean seafood. The food is always superb and it's open from March to November.
