Bambu - 1661 Meridian Avenue, Miami Beach. This restaurant is co-owned by the actress Cameron Diaz but it does not need her name to bring the diners in, as the food is great, delicious Asian fusion sushi. You may just catch sight of the occasional celebrity.
Ayestaran - 706 SW 27th Avenue, Little Havana. There is a large Cuban population in Miami and this huge Cuban restaurant set in the Cuban district of Little Havana offers authentic Cuban cuisine at good prices.
Gino's - 731 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach. Open round the clock, this restaurant serves authentic New York-style pizzas, it's the ideal place to eat after a hard nights dancing. It's also famous for a commitment to remaining open, even during the hurricanes that ravage Florida.
Miami Beach Bars & Clubs
The Abbey Brewing Company - 1115 16th Street, South Beach. This small venue is the only microbrewery in South Beach. Their creamy Oatmeal Stout is the most popular brew on offer.
Churchill's Hideaway - 5501 NE 2nd Avenue, Little Haiti. This is a British pub located in Little Haiti that has rugby and soccer matches on video and genuine UK beers on tap.
Tobacco Road - 626 S Miami Avenue. This is Miami's oldest bar, it has a friendly atmosphere and is popular with locals for its excellent live R&B, Blues and Jazz sets.
Crobar - 1445 Washington Avenue, South Beach. The club scene here doesn't get going until the early hours of the morning, so get plenty of sleep in before you go.
