Museum of Cartoon Art - 201 Plaza Real at Mizner Park, Boca Raton. The magnificent home of the museum houses everything you could possibly want to see or learn about cartoons. It also has a gift shop, which sells posters, books, and memorabilia of this great art and storytelling form.
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens - 4000 Morikami Park Rd., Delray Beach, these peaceful and beautiful gardens provide a soul-soothing garden for meditation, a moat filled with jewel-bright koi and carp fed by cascading waterfalls, and an extensive bonsai collection. Walk the seven miles of pathway meandering between other lovely areas, where you can drink in the beauty and the perfume of the gardens.
Dagger Wing Nature Center - 11200 Park Access Rd., Boca Raton, explore the 39 acres of swampland that makes up this nature reserve, that is surrounded by wetlands and wet forest and is filled with birds, wildlife and butterfly's.
Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex - 1801 N. Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton, twenty acres have been set aside for preservation of the natural plant association known as a tropical hammock. Not only is the indigenous vegetation and flora protected in this reserve, but it also shelters rare and endangered species of wildlife, and the brown pelican, sea turtles, osprey, and manatee, can all be found here.

Crab House Seafood Restaurant Located at 6909 S.W. 18th St., this restaurant is known for its fresh Florida seafood, and crab specials. There is a wide deck for outside dining, a raw bar, and a cocktail lounge, all decorated in a nautical theme. Reservations are essential.
La Tre Located at 249 E. Palmetto Park Rd., although this Vietnamese eatery is unpretentious, its menu is far from dull. Try the Happy Pancake, which is a Vietnamese crepe filled with pork shrimp and vegetables. Meals come at $10 to $20
Tiramisu Located at 855 S. Federal Hwy. with meals from $15 to over $30, this restaurant serves excellent, hearty fare, that is tempting and delicious.
