Olympia Farmers Market - 700 North Capitol Way. Loads of stalls offering local delicacies, fresh produce and locally made crafts. There is often live music at lunchtime to lend to the atmosphere. This is the place for sampling the Olympia vibe.
Hands On Children's Museum - 106 Eleventh Avenue Southwest. A wonderful museum for children and adults alike. This is the place that they can learn and have fun at the same time. There are science exhibits, farming practicalities, and children can explore how their body works and the world around them.

The Mark - 407 Columbia Street Southwest. The downtown institution is a unique dining experience and captures the special flavour of the area. This is a sophisticated restaurant that is proud of their reputation. From the well trained waiters to food presentation, they strive for perfection.
Peppers South of the Border - 422 Legion Way Southeast. If Mexican food is your thing, then get down to Peppers for all the old favourites cooked to perfection. The service is friendly, portions are large and the vibe is always fun.
Ramblin' Jacks - 520 E 4th Avenue. An old local favourite that is hard to beat for the barbeque type meals Jack's serve. Great pizza's and pasta's and they do vegetarian meals also. The well stocked bar means that you are spoiled for choice.
Lemongrass - 4th ave. This is a tremendously popular Asian restaurant. The curries range from mild to tear forming and are always tasty. The service is fast and good and the reasonably priced overflowing dishes are delightful.
Olympia Bars & Clubs
Red Wind Casino - 12819 Yelm Highway. This is touted as the 'Northwest's Friendliest Casino', as they take your money with a smile on their face. Plenty of slot machines and the usual tables including blackjack, roulette, craps and poker. The most unusual casino game featured is Bingo.
4th Ave Tavern - This bar is a popular local hangout and there is live music on the stage most nights. Blues and folk are well liked here. The well stocked bar buzzes from the evening to the early hours.
The Brotherhood - Just off 4th Ave. A friendly and funky bar that will give you a welcome any time. There is always action here weather it's live music or just chatting at the bar. The decor is unique and evokes memories of Spain.
