Bogota Restaurants and Bars

Bogota Restaurants

Cafe y Crepes Carrera 16 No. 82-17. The style of the cafe has been inspired by the pursuits of the great outdoors, but inside is very cosy. You can lounge around on pillows in front of a fire and try the mulled wine on offer. Sweet and savoury crepes are available here.

Carbon del Palo - Avenue 19 No. 106-12, This is the City's premier meat restaurant and is frequented by politicians and government officials. The grilled meats are excellent as are the salads.

Casa San Isidro Cerro de Monserrate. Situated in a fabulous location on the Cerro de Monserrate, 2,000 feet above the city, you need to take the cable car to get to this fish restaurant. The views are wonderful and food excellent.

El Patio - Carrera 4A No. 27-86. Located near the bohemian area of La Macarena this small restaurant is crowded but has a great atmosphere and the food is good.

Bogota Bars & Clubs

Charlottes - Calle 82 No. 12-51. This is an unusual nightclub as the dance floor is outside, but there are fires to keep you warm.

Salome Pagana Carrera 14A No. 82-16. Live music is played here but the atmosphere is still pretty intimate. The style of music changes from day to day, so check before you go.

Hotel Tequendama Carrera 10 Nos. 26-21. There are two bars at this hotel which is on of Bogota's oldest. They have a good range of drinks and service is excellent.
