The Wildewood Restaurant at Powderhorn is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes, with 17 different bears to choose from, pizza, and TV, not to mention the spirit of camaraderie that permeates the premises, or to put more simply, the great time to be had by all. Grand Junction is not too far away either, if you want to try out a few different venues.
Overview
Located in Western Colorado in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, Powderhorns skiing tradition dates back to the days when some daring locals constructed a rope on the slopes of a Grand Mesa, and it has never looked back. Today beginners, intermediates, and experts all ski the 500 acres of glistening snow in beautiful surroundings.
