Main street is known as Frisco's eclectic shopping hub. Stroll along the street and buy handcrafted jewelry or T shirts in one of the lovely quaint hift shops or buy a stunning piece of art in one of the galleries.

After some serious shopping have lunch in one of the lovely restaurants and then make your way over to more modern Summit Boulevard that has a diverse collection of shops and business facilities. On Summit Boulevard you will find large department stores, sporting goods, franchise restaurats and great grocery stores.

Frisco Activities

Lake Dillon - a great place for the children to soak up some sunshine. Lake Dillon is a great spot for angling and swimming and children can take canoe lessons and picnic on the shores of the lake or explore the surrounding countryside on foot or by mountain bike..

Two Below Zero Sleigh Rides - one of the most popular winter activities in Frisco are the sleigh rides that leave from the Nordic Centre. Two sturdy mules pull your oak sleight from the centre to a backwoods heated tent, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and some lively music and entertainment.

Barkelys Margaritagrille - located at 620 Main Street. Fantastic Mexican restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere. Barkleys serves the best Mexican prime rib as well as awesome fish tacos and fantastic vegetarian dishes. There are also happy hour specials, a kiddies menu and a Sunday football brunch. Open daily.

Blue Spruce Inn - located at 20 Main Street. The menu has a wide variety of flavours from steaks and chicken to pasta and seafood. The atmosphere is relaxed and the setting is rustis but comfortable. Open daily 5pm to 10pm and the bar opens at 4pm.

Uptown Bistro - located at 304 Main Street. A wonderful casual environment serving fantastic American cuisine. The menu includes pizza, steak, seafood, pasta, salad, sandwiches and delicious homemade soups. Be sure to try their special Sunday brunch which is one of the best in Frisco. Open Monday to Sunday 11am to 10pm and Sunday 9:30am to 10pm.

Butterhorn Backery and Cafe - located at 408 Main Street. The most mouthwateringly delicious baked goods in Frisco are made at Butterhorn. Everything is homemade from the pastries to the breakfasts and lunches. Open daily 7:30am to 4pm, closed on Tuesdays.

Q 4 U - located at 857 NSummit Boulevard. Owned by the Robinson family for 11 years, this is the highest BBQ in the world. Q 4 U specialises in Kansas City style BBQ and is a must when visiting Frisco. Open Monday to Saturday 10:30am to 9pm and Sundays 11am to 8pm, bookings are not required.

Frisco Bars & Clubs

Moosejaw Food and Spirits - located at 208 Main Street. A low profile local hang out, the Moosejaw sells reasonably priced beer and has pool tables to keep patrons entertained.

Backcountry Brewery - located at 720 Main Street. Backwater produces their own beers and spirits and has a casual atmosphere. Try their Telemark IPA.

Upstairs at Johnny G's - 409 Main Street. Another favourite place among the locals. The atmosphere is laid back and the bar has a nice selection of drinks. There is also entertaimnet most nights with good local bands and DJ's.

Barkleys West Nightclub - located on Main Street across the palaza from Barkleys Margaritagrille. A hugley popular nightclub in Frisco. The music is loud and the vibe is good. Open till late.
