Sausalito Parks & Gardens
Vina del Mar Park - The Park is located in the center of Sausalito's historic district. It is home to two statues of mason elephant lights, which are situated at the entrance of the fountain. The park was established in 1904 by the North Shore Railroad association.
Sausalito Park - The Park is located in downtown Sausalito. The park has become a wonderful place to enjoy a day of peaceful picnicking, whilst being surrounded by an air of tranquility created by the beautiful fountain and the awe-inspiring greens of nature.
Sausalito Restaurants and Bars
Guernica - Located on 2009 Bridgeway. The restaurant was erected in 1976 and is the funkiest of the old restaurants in town. Their specialties include dishes such as grilled lamb chops and roasted duckling served with a delicious orange sauce and tasty deserts such as creme brulee, delicious bread pudding, and creme caramel pudding. Hamburgers - The café is located on 737 Bridgeway and consists of a small café, which serves a delicious selection of hamburgers. The café offers its guests the choice between deliciously flame-grilled 100% beef burgers or tasty and healthier chicken burgers. All meals are served with side plat filled with fattening fries.
Water Street Grill - The establishment features an extremely smart combination of an eatery and a popular nightspot. Expect to find delicious eats at inexpensive prices coupled with excellent entertainment in the likes of brilliant live music. The Freddy Clarke Band is the local heroes who entertain guests every Friday evening by means of the congas, drums, bass, and the violin.
Sausalito Bars & Clubs
Patterson's Bar - Located on 739 Bridgeway. The bar offers its guests a wonderful selection of cocktails, whiskey and beers accompanied by jazz, blues and wonderfully entertaining live music. A very good place to get to know the locals by enjoying a good drink by the warm fireplace.
Smitty's Bar - Located on 214 Caledonia Street. This bar is without a doubt the home of the best cocktails in Sausalito. There is a large variety of entertainment available such as a big screen TV, a juke-box containing the latest hits as well as old classics, a dart board and a couple of pool tables. Smitty's is a very popular hangout for the local working class folk.
No Name Bar - The bar is located on 757 Bridgeway road. The bar has a very relaxed atmosphere and is a very popular hangout with the locals, especially on the live-music evenings. They serve a large selection of local and international beers, wines and other popular drinks.
