Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa - Located on 751 Palm Street. The mission was established in 1772 by Father Junipero Serra. The padre's quarters has been transformed into a museum which depicts the life of the Native Americans and missionaries during the time of which the mission was in use.

Farmers Market - Located on Higuera Street. The country's largest street fair is held in San Luis Obispo every Thursday, when jokers, merchants and entertainers come out to play. Expect to find lots of food stalls, open-pit barbecues, ciders and fresh cut flowers.

Central Coast Wines - The winery is located on 712 Higuera Street. The wine shop offers its guest the wonderful opportunity to do daily wine tasting of central coast wines, as well as weekly wine maker pourings. The shop specializes particularly in central coast wines.

Bel Frites Located on Garden Street, serves freshly prepared Belgian-style fries and special dipping sauces such as Smoky Chipotle Aioli, Curry Mango Chutney, Roasted Garlic Honey Mustard. A selection of fine Belgian ales is available to compliment the gourmet fries.

San Luis Obispo Children's Museum - The museum is located on 1010 Nipomo Street. The museum is equipped with a wonderful playhouse for the little one's, a music room, computers and a kiddies bank and post-office. The museum also features a selection of more than 20 interactive exhibits on display.

San Luis Obispo Parks & Gardens

Mission Plaza - The park is located on Palm Street. It features a beautiful garden with stunning plants and flowers, as well as brick paths and little park benches. The park is often used for local festivities and live concerts, as well as theatre, dance and poetry. The San Luis Obispo Art Center is located on the South side of the Plaza, which features 3 galleries with a wonderful range Californian art on display.

Baywood Park - The valley of the bears features a 8,000 acre park, which offers visitors a large variety of natural beauty. It is the perfect place to enjoy a day of hiking, shore-fishing, scuba diving and biking. The park is also equipped with camping sites for those who wish to enjoy nature to the max.

Big Sky Cafe - The cafe is located on 1121 Broad Street. The restaurant offers their guests a wonderful selection of fresh and healthy dishes. Their specialties are Caribbean shrimp tacos served with delicious chipotle-lime yogurt and Thai curry pasta which is served with sauteed tiger shrimp.
