Carlsbad State Beach - Ocean Boulevard. The beach runs parallel to downtown Carlsbad and is a great place to take a relaxing stroll along the concrete walkway. The beach is also a great place to erlax and soak up the sun.
Moonlight Beach - In Encinitas, B Street. This is one of the most popular beaches in the area, and is a great place to go and have some fun in the sand, sun and surf. There are a number facilities on offer, including free parking; volleyball nets; restrooms; showers; picnic tables; and fire grates.

Neiman's - 300 Carlsbad Village Drive. This is one of the best restaurants in town, and is very popular with locals and tourists alike. They serve a wide range of Continetal food, and some of the best seafood in town. This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner.
Palomar Runway Cafe - 2162 Palomar Airport Road. This is the place to go if you're looking for an authentic American diner and a truly American dining experience. The diner is very popular with both locals and tourists, and can get quite busy. They serve a wide range of American food, from the more traditional to the more modern.
Carlsbad Bars & Clubs
Coyote Bar - 300 Carlsbad Village Drive. This lively bar is one of the best intown, and is very popular with a mixed crowd of locals. They host live rock bands on weekends and during the week DJs play a range of the latest rock music. This is the place to go if you're looking to have some fun, down a few beers and mix with the locals.
Henry's - 264 Carlsbad Village Drive. This piano bar is very popular with locals in their 30s, and is a great place to go for a slightly more relaxed evening out. Here you can sit back; relax; and have a few cocktails, while listening to some good music.
Hennessey's Tavern - 2777 Roosevelt Street. This is one of the most popular bars in town, and is frequented by a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. This is a great place to relax after a long days sightseeing, have a few drinks and mingle with the locals.
