Boreal Ridge Ski Information
The nearest town of Sacramento offers visitors a large selection of activities, should they wish to take a break from skiing. The California State Railroad Museum is an excellent place to start off a day of sightseeing. This is a very popular attraction with visitors and attracts more than 500,000 guests annually. Another great attraction is the Crocker Art Museum which is housed inside a large 19th century building. The museum is home to a large selection of different forms of artwork from Nothern California. The California State Capitol and Museum is home to the California Legislature and features a public museum.

The apre ski scene is very relaxed and consists mainly of motels and a couple of nice restaurants. A few of the restaurants offer specialised entertainment evenings such as cocktail nights, which is accompanied by a selection of great music. There is also an ice rink and extensive walking trails available for entertainment.
The Boreal Ridge Ski Area is situated in California. The resort offers hours of activities for everyone, both young and old. The resort is home to an excellent ski school which features an award-winning lesson program which ranges from Children's Snow School camps to lessons equipped for adult skiers. The resort offers skiers a total of 9 lifts and 36 slopes, which are best equipped for intermediates and beginners. Visitors also have the choice of doing night skiing. The apre ski scene is very relaxed and consists predominantly of Motels and a couple of restuarants. There is also an ice rink and walking trails available for entertainment.
