People who wish to take a break from skiing can venture into the nearest town of Sacramento. The town is home to the California State Railroad Museum, which is a brilliant place to start off a day of sightseeing. The museum has become one of the most popular attractions in the town and attracts more than 500,000 guests annually. Another excellent place to visit is the Crocker Art Museum which is housed inside a large 19th century building. The museum is home to a large selection of different forms of artwork from Nothern California. The California State Capitol and Museum is home to the California Legislature and features a public museum.
