General information
Situated at the base of the mountain, the village of St donat is wonderfuly scenic as it is the only village in Quebec with two huge lakes side by side, Lake Ouareau and Lake Archambault. St Donat has many great outdoor activities such as hiking and walking trails, golf course and fishing on the lakes. The town even has its very own monster of Lake Archambault, see if you can spot it.

Apres-ski
St Donat is also great for Apres ski activities. The town has grocery stores and some great boutiques where you can by great local arts and crafts. St Donat also has brasseries and bistros serving delicious fresh food to suit every taste. Try the Manoir des Laurentides which offers accommodation as well as a good restaurant that also serves vegetarian dishes. Internet links are also now available in the town keeping techno junkies happy and allowing visitors to communicate with friends and family back home.
Overview
Located in the Lanaudiere Region just north of Montreal and only three killometers outside the lovely village of St Donat, Mont Garceau is a great resort for all ski levels but is particularaly good for advanced and expert skiers. The resort has a good selection of trails, a good snowboard park with a half pipe, ski and snowboard lessons, rentals, a childrens program with day care facilities, cross country trails and snowmobile trails.
