Château Briand - Located at 1873 Granville Street at the historic properties, this restaurant offers very good French cuisine for affordable prices. The decor is very nice, many pictures, tear-drop chandeliers, candle-lit tables. Place to visit for a lively night out! Fills up around 11pm and ends about 6am! Always packed! Fab staff - really friendly! Must visit!!! :)
Cafe Chianti - This is one of my favourite restaurants in Halifax. It is at 5165 South Street and serves authentic Italian food in a warm and intimate setting.
Halifax Parks & Gardens
Point Pleasant Park - The park is situated on Point Pleasant drive. The park is one of Canada's best urban parks and consists of 74-hectares of splendid beauty. Located in the park, you will find the ruins of early forts and the well preserved ruins of the Martello Tower. The park also features a small swimming beach and a great array of walking trails surrounded by the beauty of groves and Fir trees.
Public Gardens - The park is situated on Spring Garden and South Park Street. The park initially started out as a private garden in 1753. The park was acquired by the Nova Scotia Horticultural Society in 1836 and features a predominant Victorian style landscape. The park features a wonderful array of trees, splendid lush green lawns, statues, fountains and duck ponds.

Bish World Cuisine - The restaurant is situated on 1475 Lower Water Street. The restaurant features an interesting combination of Asian and Continental influences. Their specialties include delicious dishes such as scallops served with lobster-sherry potstickers and Thai roasted chicken served with coconut soup.
daMaurizio - The restaurant is situated on 1496 Lower Water Street and has become famous for serving an intriguing selection of Italian cuisine. The restaurant features a very classy style of decor and is very popular with locals and tourists.
Cheapside Cafe - The cafe is situated in the Provincial Building, located on 1723 Hollis Street. The best place in town to get tasty sandwiches and other delectables such as chicken breast served with avocado and mango chutney. The cafe has also become very popular by locals, due to its delicious and affordable desert dishes.

Granite Brewery - Situated on 1222 Barrington Street. The bar features a typical British pub style atmosphere with the majority of the ale is being brewed on the premesis. A very popular hangout with locals and tourists alike.
Rogue's Roost Brew Pub - Situated on 5435 Spring Garden Road. The pub features a very interesting brisk and modern style of decor. The bar is frequented predominantly by students and is an excellent choice for an evening of full out partying.
Your Father's Moustache - Situated on 5686 Spring Garden Road. The bar features an excellent range of tasty ales. Visitors can expect to be entertained by various live shows, blues being a specialty. The pub is also equipped with a rooftop pation, stunning for summer, which offers splendid views of the area.
