General information
For a break from the snow and slopes visit th eFrench accented town of Edmundston. The town has a picturesque setting right on the Saint John River and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Spend the morning walking round the town and viewing the sights such as the stunning 17 acres Edmundston Botanical Garden. The garden has eight thematic gardens with over 80 000 plants, a boutique, restaurant, the worlds loveliest butterfly collection and visitors can listen to inspirational music while strolling through the garden.

Edmundston has a few restaurants, some with great views of the river and serving hearty meals. The restaurant in the botanical gardens serves great food in a tranquil, beautiful environment. Mont Farlagne has a great hilltop area where visitors can have a picnic, enjoy a barbeque and relax or maybe even do some sunbathing.
Overview
One of the most popular ski resorts in New Brunswich, Mont Farlagne is a wonderful family oriented ski resort that has groomed trails of natural snow and a friendly fun environment. The resort is located just west of Edmundston and offers activities such as inner tube sliding, night skiing, snowboarding and a day care service. In January Mont Farlagne is transformed into a carnival like atmosphere during national ski week with races, a torch light parade, musical entertainment and much more.
