Overview

Apex is a cozy village at the base of the spectacular Cathedral mountain range. Regarded as some of the best skiing in North America, it boasts an abundance of dry Okanagan powder, short lift lines, and uncrowded slopes. The village is quite small, but the ski terrain is varied. It offers 67 runs, which provides exhilarating challenges for expert skiers, and inspirational experiences, on gentle rolling cruisers, for beginner and intermediate skiers. The high-speed quad chairlift makes it easy for visitors to get to the top of the mountain, from where they can access 1112 acres of magnificent fall-line skiing and boarding. There is excellent off-piste and great views of the Cathedral mountain range. Apex was recently voted as Canada's best small destination resort by Ski Canada magazine, and is a good family vacation destination.
