Due to the cold winter nights, the pubs and bars are well stocked and warm. Restaurants are plentiful and the nightlife is very lively.
Sunshine Village is known for good snow falls - more that 400 inches per annum - so you can be fairly sure of getting in some good skiing. In the middle of the village is Sunshine Inn, the only ski-in/ski-out hotel in the area. There are excellent all round ski slopes, from beginners' runs at Meadow Park to Delirium Dive and Waterfall Run for the advanced skiers as well as the World Cup downhill for those with top skills and nerves. The scenery is excellent and there's a wide variety of accommodation.
