General information

There is an excellent golf course in the village for those who would like a break from the skies. Situated at the Sundance Lodge you can stop for a bite to eat and a drink at the Bottoms Bar and Grill and while you are there don't miss the Lone Wolf Gallery. For kids and choco-holics, pop in at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at the Delta Sun Peaks Resort.

Apres-ski

There are 14 restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisine. Apart from the ice-rink and swimming pool, you can relax in a hot tub or there are a wide variety of walking trails to view the wildlife. Alternatively, you could enjoy any of the other outdoor activities like dog-sledding, horse-drawn sleigh rides or a tour on a snowmobile.

Overview

With Olympic gold medallist Nancy Greene as the director of skiing as well as the hotel manager, this newly revamped ski area is a good competitor for other ski resorts. Just 45 minutes from Kamloops, it has a vertical drop of 2,841 ft and a run of 8 kilometers. There are plenty of activities for the non-skiers and the kids are well catered for. The Tube Park is loads of fun and the children can fly down the tube of air cushions. There is a sports centre with hot tubs to relax in as well as a wide variety of ways to explore the surrounding terrain, from dog sledding and horse sleighs to Cat skiing and snowboarding tours.
