We chose the hotel for it's cheap price and the fact that it's a bungalow-hotel. The rooms were simple and clean and they were cleaned daily and very well air-conditioned! :) Room also had a small refridgerator, hairdryer (which was a nice surprise) and of course a safe-deposit box.
The staff was very nice although majority didn't speak english. The little we spoke spanish was though enough! Included was a simple breakfast. Hotel is abt 5 minutes walk from the beach and the nearest grocery store. All in all service and all was good was good. Very nice and peaceful!

My wife is Venezuelan,I asked her to look for a hotel to go for our honeymoon,as we had already spent a great holiday in Isla de Margarita before she picked this one rather than 1 in Porlamar where we stayed before. This hotel is all by itself in a quiet bay,on arrival we could see that this hotel was well worth the 5 star rating it once had but now its a little run down and needs a little make over.The staff will bend over backwards to make your stay a memerable one.
If you want night life and plenty of shops,resturants etc better go to Porlamar, the Hylton or Hotel Dynasty is by our oppinion by far the best.
But if you want that quiet holiday go to this one its got everything you could ask for,great spa,beach,pool,golf course the list goes on.
We would go back.
