Great place to stay in Tarapoto
I'm travelling for business purposes in South America. I stayed at the Rio Shilcayo Hotel during a week. The rooms are simply fantastic (clean, good air conditioning, TV, wireless internet connexion). The hotel services are very good, excellent menu at the hotel restaurant with very well trained staff. The gardens around the hotel are beautiful and a lorro is walking every where around the reception staff. he's talking and laughing like crazy. I'll be back to the Shilcayo next June. Best place to stay in Tarapoto and by very far.

Can't recommend it highly enough
This hotel is fantastic. I stayed there for a few nights two years ago, and am enthusiastically looking forward to my next week-long stay in two weeks.

Very nice place to stay
We stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are adequate and clean. Next time we will stay in a bungalow. We ate all of our meals here and enjoyed all of them. The staff is attentive and friendly. We look forward to our next stay here.
