First of all the phone number on this site is incorrect. It should have been a sign when this was the only hotel in Piura that was available. The hotel was noisy, the rooms dirty and the staff, aside from one bellman named carlos, were completely unhelpful and incompetant. Every time we would go to the desk the story that we were given before changed or they had no idea who we were. There IS a transfer to the airport, oh NO there is only one way transfer FROM the airport not TO the airport. We DO exchange money, oh no we don´t exchange money. In fact we don´t even have change in our own currency. We won´t charge a meal to your room because you didn´t say in advance it was to be charged to your room, and oh yeah your credit card doesn´t work and we only accept cash. If you are american do not come here unless you are fluent in spanish as well, since no one speaks one word of english, or so they say. Also it should have been a sign when there were fly swatters in each room. I was eaten alive by bugs, and left with no less than 30 bites. There was also a mysterious hole in the ceiling of our bathroom, the sink didn´t drain nor did the shower. All in all our 4 days here was about 3 3/4 days too many.
