I found the staff very helpful, it was nice and close to the main mall, they provided the wake up call I required. The rooms were large, clean and it even had cable.

Top Local Tips for Lima

Be careful in Lima Lima is a pretty tough town. Don't let this scare you from visiting Lima (actually you don't really have a choice if you go to Peru), but just have your wits about you and don't display any wealth.

shopping The hotel is five minutes from big supermarket metro and you can get everything there . There was a vegetarian restaurent on the same road and you can get fresh juice and twocourse meal for 8 sols( 1.2 pounds)

Watch out for the rip off taxi desk at the airport Be very careful at Lima airport - a group of us met in downtown Lima for a tour and prices varied wildly as to how much we were charged. The standard advice is that you're safer ordering from the official taxi desk at the airport, however we were really ripped off and got charged triple what it should have been to get downtown, so know how much it sholud be before you go to these rip off merchants!
