Best Grand Hotel Betsy

What a great find! It's located in the best area of Lima, right in San Isidro, with Miraflores on the other side of the plaza...one block from Wong's (the best Lima supermarket) and across the street from a big Catholic Church. Around the plaza you have movie theatres, bookstores, restaurants, including TG Friday's...you enter into a private home with a fireplace, living, dining room and kitchen, and as you go through French doors to the inside garden, you see a six-story modern building with an elevator and stairway. The rooms are extremely clean, I had a color T.V., microwave and fridge with a comfortable bed and ultra-clean bathroom on the fifth floor with a great view of the Ovalo Gutierrez (main circular plaza). Breakfast was included and I had them bring it to my room instead of going up to the sixth floor dining room. The hotel personnel are terrific and it's the best location in Lima!
