Better Values on Dining Finding the places where the locals go is usually a good idea..but in San Andres look where middle class Columbians go..example: there is a great homestyle Columbian restaurant off the beachwalk that is superb..excellent value..meals are $7-8.00(US) kill me...I forgot the name!!! arrgh!! all I can tell you is it's at the very end of the walk on the left !! wow, was it great!...Change your dollars BEFORE you go...there are few convienent money exchange opportunities on the island. You do better at the restaurants with Colombian currency..have a great time! The Yacht Club restaurant has a nice location but is highly overrated. Nice expensive menu.. slow, forgetful, inept service..the owner needs to clean house and start again..portions are small for the money....no value here..
