Stayed in there best room # 9 with Jaccuzzi inside the bathroom. Jaccuzzi not working. Closets in bathroom smelled horrible. 2 towel in bathroom and this is their best suite. Had a bussiness meeting came back with some friends front desk told me I could only have 1 person in the room with me no more. This was ridiculus, I felt like a teenager with my parents telling me my friends had to go. I advised they dont have a conference room and we will be having a drink they stated administration does not allow. By the way this happanning while the people are waiting for me and hearing this conversation. Custumer service is real bad and they have no sense in treating tourist that are their for bussiness and to have a good time.

This is a very nice hotel. My husband and I stayed there the last week of September. The rooms range from the economy room which is $80 to the $140 suite. We went with the suite. The room had its own private computer and a large plasma television with DirecTV so we could watch American news programs as well as some English channels. The bathroom in the suite is huge with 12 closets and a nice warm Jacuzzi. We were able to cook our own food in the kitchen whenever we wanted as well as use the BBQ. One thing to note is the laws in Medellin no longer allow the BBQ to be located around the pool but the secretary is more than happy to bring it out to use beside the house if you ask.

The road where the hotel is located is under construction so it is a little hard to find. The best thing we found was to tell the taxis to go to where they are building the new mega-shopping center in Poblado and then just go up the hill. It will be nice once the shopping center is completed as this hotel is located walking distance from it. That being said the location is extremly calm and away from the traffic of the main streets.

This is not a family hotel. In fact they do not allow children on the premises. It is marketed towards upscale travelers who are looking for a quiet getaway. We met several other people who were travelling around Colombia from Spain, England as well as many Colombians who were in Medellin for business. I greatly enjoyed and will absolutely return on my next visit to Medellin.

Top Local Tips for Medellin

Eating Out Go to Parque Llleras after 10:00pm any night except Sunday and Monday. Thousands of people and so many beautiful women!

Santa Fe Santa Fe is one hour from Medellin. Go there for a day trip. It is totally beautiful.

Oviedo There is a large shoping center that is walking distance from the hotel called Oviedo.
