The price is excellent. You just cross the road to the beach and it is located in the heart of the modern tourist district. No beachfront hotel in other cities will be found at this price. There are all types of rooms. It depends on how much you want to pay. You can get a large king room with wrap around balconies or smaller rooms with several beds for you and your friends. I chose the large room which included a massage table. I had the buffet breakfast every morning before I started out to explore the city. Any time I had a problem such as needing more soap or laundry service, I found the staff to be eager to help right away. I was very happy during my week stay and will return in the future.

Top Local Tips for Cartagena

Cartagena My partner and I enjoyed Cartagena. It was very busy on the weekend that we were there because of the Ultramar music festival and bull fighting. Overall a lovely little costal town with lots of hotels, restaurants and shops. The old town is particularly special.
