I visited La Boheme in November of 2004 and again in February of 2005; staying for 8 days the first visit and 4 days the second visit. I recommend the larger rooms with the separate bedroom. The hotel is in the heart or so it seems to me of Zona Rosa. I found the staff incredibly helpful and outgoing. If I could rate the staff higher than a 10, I would. If you are interested in shopping, going out at night, or having some world class restaurants within a short walk (I'm talking no more than two blocks), this place will meet your needs. Many of the staff speak English, which for me is almost a necessity as my Spanish is limited. I used sun seeker above for no particular reason except I like south and Central America and although I still work, I travel often. I recommend Colombia to anyone and everyone. The city of Bogota is beautiful; and its people are world class. Like anyplace else in the world, New York, Las Angeles, watch where you go and what you do and you'll be fine. If you stay at La Boheme, I think you'll enjoy your stay. As a note, I saw a variety of travelers at the hotel, single men, women, couples and families. I didn’t hear anyone complain about anything. The rooms facing the main street can be a little noisy because of some of the club noise at night, but the design of the rooms/windows is that you have two sets of windows; if they are closed, any outside noise is minimal. Enjoy your stay. One final comment, the hotel pricing is more than fair.
