Friendly, charming atmosphere

Our friend has returned to the Hotel Chile Espana for 13 years, each summer. We just spent 6 very pleasant weeks there. The management and staff, Adriana and Jose, the Juanes, Carmen, Magdalena and Sonja, are friendly and very accomodating. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were kept very clean. Carmen cooks an extraordinarily good meal (which can get somewhat repetitive if you're there long enough). The location can't be beat: there's a view of ocean waves and it's close to markets and shops and right next door to a bar. The internet connection should be improved soon but with 3 old computers it left something to be desired. Has the best coffee in Pichilemu (except for the French Roast at the Language School). Has spots for washing and drying wetsuits. TV room and TV with cable in some of the rooms. Beautiful Euro-style atmosphere. The hot water was difficult to maintain, temperature-wise, so showers weren't as wonderful as they could've been. I highly recommend this place.
