Reconfirm your seats on the way out of Easter Island The flights are really booked up on the way out of Easter Island. Even if your tour operator says they have confirmed your booking and seats, make sure you have done it yourself and get the seat number. otherwise they will split you up with your travelling companions. Dont ever go to the Business Class queue, even if you are directed by airport staff, the LAN chile staff will ask and take you back to the economy queue

The Be there for this amazing festival, from beginning of February for two weeks, Awesome concert every night for two weeks.

Dogs on island There are many dogs on the island. We befriended 9or were befriended by a youg beagle-germn sheppard mix that followed us about and really appreciated part of our lunch. We did not pet little "Pablo" as we nicknamed him, and we would advise other travellers to do the same.
