everything I expected and more the taxis and plentiful, usually cost the equivalent of $3US to get from the hotel to the village or to the museum. The resraurant will call you a taxi. Check with the driver before, I have not seen a taxi with a meter. Jardin de Mau is a small restaurant overlooking the ocean,by the road on the way to Hanga Roa. They start serving dinner at 7PM. You may want to call and make a reservation. One night the restaurant was all booked. Great seafood and a great ambiance. The service is excellent. I had dinner in the restaurant 2 nights. The moais are misterious and more fascinating than I imagined.

La Taberne du Pecheur Excelente restaurante. Excelente comida francesa-tahitiana. Excelente carta de vinos.
