Hotel Mirador in Calama. Very pleasant hotel; good size room. No air conditioning, of course, but we didn't find it necessary. Outside lights activated by passers by. If you are near the office, that can be annoying. The staff very nice and almost always someone around who speaks some English well enough. Perfectly located. Inexpensive. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Given the options, if we returned to Calama, we would stay there again. But don't depend on them for wake up calls. 2 never happened.
